  With two years of experience in the industry, I began my journey as a support worker, holding a Certificate III in Individual Support. My passion for providing meaningful assistance and my desire to do something rewarding led me to join my friends in establishing Queen Carers. Together, we aim to deliver high-quality support services that truly make a difference in our community. As a director and support worker at Queen Carers, I am dedicated to listening to our participants' needs and creating an atmosphere of confidence and appreciation. I continue to provide hands-on support, ensuring that our values of care, respect, and personalized attention are reflected in every interaction.

In my personal time, I enjoy traveling and exploring the places around me, as well as spending time gardening at home. These hobbies keep me grounded and inspired, reinforcing my commitment to fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for both our participants and team at Queen Carers. Our vision is to provide quality services that truly resonate with the needs of our participants, building a supportive community where everyone feels heard and valued.

I am Regina Mangwayana, a Registered Nurse and one of the directors at Queen Carers. My journey to nursing began after a 7-year career in banking, driven by a deep passion to help the community around me. This career change allowed me to follow my calling and make a meaningful impact in healthcare.

Throughout my nursing career, I have worked extensively within Queensland Health, focusing on areas such as aged care, transition care, brain injuries, and disability support. My desire to help others aligned perfectly with my colleagues, leading us to establish Queen Carers as a registered NDIS provider. At Queen Carers, I am dedicated to using my skills to support participants in the high-intensity care category and offer night nurse drop-in services. Our aim is to provide exceptional support in Brisbane, ensuring that every participant receives the care and attention they need to thrive. With a commitment to quality care and a passion for community service, we at Queen Carers are excited to continue our journey, making a positive difference in the lives of those we support.
